Paysys Labs is looking for a technically strong Associate Business Analyst to join our Product & Delivery – Acquiring team. The ideal candidate should have a software engineering background, hands-on development experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

📍 Location: Karachi | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements from clients and internal teams.
  • Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
  • Analyze REST APIs, JSON/XML, SQL databases, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams on solution design, SIT, UAT, and issue resolution.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot for analysis, documentation, and workflow improvements.
  • Manage requirements, change requests, and product backlogs using Jira and Confluence.
  • Independently manage assigned modules and coordinate with stakeholders.

Good to Have
Experience in Fintech, Digital Payments, Banking, POS, or QR Payments.
Knowledge of RAAST, 1Link, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, or payment acquiring systems.
Exposure to AI automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Power Automate.
Understanding of merchant onboarding, settlement, and reconciliation processes.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience with hands-on software development exposure. 1+ years
  • Practical experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SQL, databases, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, LLM APIs, automation, plugins, or connectors.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Nice to have
