Does AI decide who gets hired?
No. HireSide reads, scores and ranks applicants, and shows you why. A person on your team reviews the shortlist and makes every decision. HireSide never rejects a candidate on its own.
How is the match score worked out?
Each applicant is compared with the rubric you approve for the role: must-have skills, relevant experience, seniority and the other requirements you set. Every score comes with a short reason that quotes the CV, so you can check it and overrule it.
What do candidates see?
Before they apply, candidates are told that AI helps review applications and what it looks at. They can ask for a human review or an explanation, and every candidate receives an outcome.
Is the AI interview available now?
Yes, as a text interview that candidates take online in their own time. Each one is built from the job and the candidate's CV, starts with an unscored practice question, and is scored only on what was said, with quoted evidence. The voice version is coming soon.
Which languages can candidates interview in?
Seven: English, French, Spanish, Malay, Arabic, Chinese and Urdu. Candidates who switch between languages, or write Urdu in Latin letters (Roman Urdu), are understood. Your team can use HireSide in the same seven interface languages.
Do you analyse faces, voices or emotions?
No, and we never will. HireSide doesn't read facial expressions, emotions or tone of voice. AI interviews are scored only on what the candidate says, with quoted evidence.
Does HireSide work with WhatsApp?
Not yet — it's coming soon. Today candidates hear from you by email. WhatsApp invitations, reminders and outcomes are next on our list, because that's where many candidates read their messages.
Who owns the candidate data?
You do. As the employer, you decide what is collected and how long it is kept, and HireSide processes it on your behalf. Candidate data is never sold, and never used to train AI models without separate consent.
How much does it cost?
Every company hires differently, so HireSide is priced by proposal. Tell us how many people you hire and for which roles, and we'll send you a proposal priced for your company. Request a proposal.
